	The Marion County Emergency Radio Team, is bringing the Marion County Mobile Command Center to HamCation® 2012. They will set up and have demos on D-Star, D-rats, Winlink 2K and other tools used during emergency communications. The team also plans to connect MCC with the internet, using the Icom ID1 radio through the AES repeater or other repeaters in Orlando.
	The American Red Cross, ARC Central Florida Chapter, will show one of the 12 ARC Emergency Communication Response Vehicles stationed in Florida. The ECRV will be shown during HamCation® 2012. The operators will answer questions and demonstrate the capabilities of this very sophisticated emergency communication vehicle.
	We are still seeking Volunteers for this 66th Orlando HamCation® in 2012. Please sign up early so we can plan ahead. Send an E-mail to: volunteers@hamcation.com and mention your preferred day, hours and location where you would like to work. There will be no volunteer signup at the event. All volunteers must sign up in advance.

A big THANK YOU to all Vendors, Visitors and Volunteers,

Orlando HamCation® 2012 was a huge success!

We sold more commercial booths tailgate spots, swap-tables, RV-nights and tickets than ever. In most areas we were completely sold out. Many vendors decided to secure their booth, tailgate spot, RV nights or swap table space for 2013 before leaving.

The weather was great, even a chilly Sunday morning did not deter visitors from coming to enjoy the event. To all the volunteers; you were absolutely incredible. You all went the extra mile to make our guests and vendors feel welcome. In the next couple of months I will be visiting all the local clubs who helped out by volunteering, to express my gratitude for all you did.

All of this would not have been possible if not for you: vendors, visitors and volunteers!
I hope you will join us again at Hamcation® 2013.
